This session focuses on improving access to competitive integrated employment (CIE) for individuals with brain injury through supported and customized employment. Presenters explore common barriers to VR participation, including cognitive fatigue, executive functioning issues, and limited long-term supports. They share promising practices, screening tools, real-world case examples, and policy insights to help VR counselors, service providers, and partners better support individuals with brain injury in achieving meaningful employment outcomes.
