This session explores Long COVID as an emerging disability that affects health, functioning, and employment. Presenters examine how Long COVID impacts vocational rehabilitation (VR) consumers and provide guidance for each stage of the VR process—from outreach and eligibility to job retention. The session includes strategies for reducing stigma, addressing co-occurring conditions, supporting disclosure decisions, and navigating reasonable accommodations. Presenters also highlight the legal landscape, screening practices, and promising supports for individuals with Long COVID pursuing employment.
