Justice-Involved Learning Community: Developing a Resource Toolkit

Learn how the Justice-Involved Learning Community (JILC) collaborated over the past year to develop a resource toolkit that supports VR counselors working with individuals impacted by the criminal legal system. This session highlights the reasons behind the toolkit’s creation, the process used to design it, and the core components it includes. Presenters share lessons learned from community discussions and preview several tools designed to promote person-centered services, address stigma, and strengthen employment planning for justice-impacted individuals with disabilities.
