The Talking Circle is an opportunity for AIVRS (American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation Services) project personnel to participate in discussions that foster personal and professional growth. Each participant has knowledge to share and experiences that may be beneficial to others. The purpose of the Talking Circle is to convene AIVRS project personnel in a virtual platform and engage in a collective process of learning.

Talking Circle Objectives:

  • Provide a listening session to engage in discussion and share resources and ideas.
  • Identify and highlight potential solutions to common challenges by sharing existing knowledge, experiences, and ideas in order to improve the AIVRS Program.
  • Collect ideas and determine where to focus our collective energy with respect to the new resources available to the AIVRS community.
  • Identify personnel from other AIVRS projects who could serve as a resource.
