The purpose of the Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center for Quality Employment (VRTAC–QE) is to support State Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies in their efforts to provide high quality vocational rehabilitation counseling services to individuals with disabilities that are seeking to obtain or retain employment.
Similarly, the National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: The Collaborative (NTACT:C) is an assistance center focused on providing information, tools, and supports to assist various stakeholders, including VR personnel, in delivering effective services for youth with disabilities.
Central to both centers purposes is the provision of intensive, targeted, and universal technical assistance and training aimed at upgrading and increase the competencies, skills, and knowledge of VR personnel to implement and sustain employment strategies and supporting practices.
