About this Event:
Join us to learn more about the activities and outcomes of the RETAIN Kentucky project. The RETAIN Kentucky project, a four-year initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Labor, was designed to improve the job retention and career maintenance outcomes of people with acquired disabilities.
RETAIN Kentucky adheres to best practices in return to work/stay at work through an early intervention procedure guided by the well-known Crux model of vocational case management, which was first introduced in the 1970s by Drs. Richard Roessler and Stanford Rubin.
Learning Objectives:
- To become familiar with empirical and theoretical rationales for return to work/stay at work services for people with non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
- To learn about the direct services and systems change priorities that are being implemented in the RETAIN Kentucky project.
