About this Session
This training explores the proactive strategies used to reduce subminimum wage employment, with a focus on lessons learned from the field. Through insights from the 14c Subminimum Wage Learning Community and Udac’s transition to integrated service models, participants will gain an understanding of how to shift from legacy systems to competitive integrated employment (CIE) and meaningful community inclusion. The training emphasizes the importance of culture change, leadership, and empowerment in transforming services for individuals with disabilities, aiming to dismantle barriers and promote independence.
