Alumna of Auburn University with a graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. A certified rehabilitation counselor serving individuals with mental health, cognitive, behavioral, and physical impairments for the state of North Carolina. Soldier’s daughter and Marine Corps spouse.

Dr. Beatrice Lee is an assistant professor of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso. Her research focuses on exploring malleable risk and protective factors that can help people with disabilities deal more effectively with stress.

She is currently working for the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services and has been a VRC for 5 years. She was a medic in the Army for six years and worked as a paramedic for eight years.

Dr. Umucu serves as associate professor of public health at the UTEP and aims to improve employment and health outcomes for veterans with disabilities.

Nicole is a Certified Rehabilitation Specialist and a proud advocate for veterans. She is a committed Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist at the VA.
