This webcast will explore an intervention study of the effects of paid work during high school on the post-school employment outcomes of students with severe disabilities.

This presentation focuses on the first phase of this intervention to gain stakeholder input on the design and delivery of the intervention, as well as considerations around barriers, facilitators, and mind sets towards the paid employment of youth with severe disabilities.

Findings from qualitative focus groups of the perspectives and recommendations of 74 stakeholders (e.g., special educators, parents, administrators, employers, agency personnel) related to supporting these important adolescent work experiences will be shared.
